Eligibility:
The Candidate should hold 3 years bachelor’s degree with 50% marks from a UGC recognised university.

The applicant must have studied URDU as a subject or medium of study at 10th or its equivalent or above.

There shall be relaxation of 5% marks at degree level for SC / ST / OBC and other categories.

The Bachelor of Education (Distance Mode) Programme of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) aims at developing the understanding and competencies required by teachers for effective teaching-learning process at the secondary stage.

One needs to clear an Entrance Exam to get admission in B Ed Program in MANUU.


Eligibility Criteria for MANUU Distance Education B.Ed Admission


Candidates with minimum 50% marks either in the UGC recognized university 3 years Bachelor Degree and/or in the Master Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/ Humanity

Bachelor in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent is eligible for admission to the programme


The following categories are eligible to be the students of B.Ed. (ODL):
Trained in-service teachers in elementary education; the clauses 1 & 2 are subject to change from time to time as per NCTE regulations (or)
One who has completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.


Admission Procedure

Admission is done on the basis of the Score/ Rank obtained in the Entrance Test conducted by MANUU
One will be required to submit the filled-in application form through online only


Reservation

The reservation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories is as per the rules of the Central Govt/State Govt, whichever is applicable.


Course Duration

The minimum duration of the program is two years. However, the maximum period allowed for completion of the programme will be 5 years
