National Film Development Corporation Malayisa (FINAS) is Malaysia’s leading film agency and film industry.

It was established in the year 1981.

It is a statutory agency under the Ministry of Communication and Multimedia.

FINAS is responsible to preserve , promote and facilitate the development of the film industry in Malaysia.

FINAS is the agency that facilitates all foreign film production work in Malaysia.

Aims and Objectives :

• Expand the market space and enhance the film industry's economy and creative content;
• Enhance the process of marketing local content overseas;
• Internationalize the Malaysian industry and its creative content;
• Enhancing human capital and empowering the younger generation and film community;
• Promoting Malaysia as an international filming destination;
• Provide effective and efficient services, facilities, advice and support;
• Foster a culture of viewing Malaysian films.
