The eligibility requirements and number of seats for admission in MBBS Program offered by Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

(1) One must have completes the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the academic year of admission to the MBBS course.

(2) One passes the qualifying exam as under:
(a) The Senior Secondary Exam or the Indian School Certificate Exam which is equivalent to 10+2 exam after a period of 12 years study, the last 2 years of the study comprising Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English as compulsory subject or its equivalent certificate and must have obtained a minimum of 50% (40% for SC ST / OBC / SBC) marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology at the qualifying examination.

(3) Reservation policy of Government of Rajasthan is applicable on NEET seats. Reservation policy is only applicable on 85% seats.
No reservation is applicable on NRI Seats.

1. Foreign Nationals / PIO / Children / Wards of NRI (in short called “NRI seats”) – 15% of the total annual intake - 23
2. Seats filled through NEET - 85% of the total annual intake. (Other than NRI Seats) – 127


NRI Seats:
According to admission regulatory committee of Govt. of Rajasthan in NRI quota description of 'ward' word - an NRI who undertakes to sponsor a student for admission as guardian need not be a blood relation. Hence the 'ward' in case of NRI admission means a candidate whose guardian is a bonafide NRI. 'Ward' does not mean related by the blood.

(i) Foreign students from other countries must have passport, visa and exchange permits valid for the period of the course of study in the Institution and should also observe the regulations of both central and state governments regarding residential permits and obtain no-objection certificate.

(ii) One should have a provisional "Student Visa". If comes on any other visa and is selected for admission, will have to first obtain a student visa from one’s country and then only will be allowed to join the course. Therefore it is imperative to obtain provisional student visa before coming for counseling.
