| Re: Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) Superintendent Entrance Examination
The Maharashtra Public Service Commission conducted Deputy Superintendent of Police/Assistant Commissioner of Police, Wireless (Engineering), Group-A exam in the first week of September 2012. Eligibility: Applicants must have a degree in science or Engineering branch. Candidates’ age should be between 18 to 28 years of age. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in age. Exam pattern: Pre exam has 2 papers--General studies and candidates have to choose any subjects from the following subjects. Agriculture Botany Commerce Chemistry Economics Geography Indian History Mathematics Physics Political Science Sociology Zoology Mains exam: The main exam paper is based on generally studies and English and on two subjects opted by the candidate from the following optional subjects. Agronomy Animal Husbandry & Dairying Applied Mechanics Banking Botany Chemistry Economics Food Science Geography Geology History Horticulture Law Management & Public Administration Mathematics Microbiology Philosophy Sociology Political Science Psychology Statistics Physics Zoology. Any one subject from the following subjects: English Literature Hindi Literature Sanskrit Literature Marathi Literature Urdu Literature. Here is the notice of the exam published by the MPSC.
