Yes the Maharashtra state is conducting Maharasthra Common Entrance Test for MBA admission. The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test popularly known as MAH CET is a state level MBA entrance exam. It is conducted to offer admissions in management courses such as MBA, MMS, PGDBA and PGDBM in various institutes of Maharashtra. MAH CET MBA is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). Those applicants who are interested shall fill the application form from 2nd week of February. Eligibility: Candidates have to be passed in Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent examination from a recognized university to apply for the examination. Candidates must have scored at least 50% aggregate or its equivalent CGPA for open category (45% in case of reserved category) from a recognized university to apply for the examination. Application fees: For general Category Maharashtra State, and Jammu & Kashmir candidates Rs 1000 For reserved category & Physically Handicapped Students belonging to Maharashtra State Only Rs 800 MAH CET MBA Syllabus The MAH CET MBA syllabus has questions from: Verbal ability Reading Compression Quantitative analysis Data sufficiency Data interpretation Analytical reasoning Verbal reasoning Non-verbal reasoning MAH CET MBA Exam Pattern The paper comprises of 200 multiple choice objective type questions of 1 mark each. The time for the test shall be about 150 minutes. The language of paper shall be in English only. No marks will be reduced for wrong answers.
