There are so many Academies for Higher Education in Madras. In this an Academy of higher education is MAHER University. it was established on 31st march 2004. Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER) University is recognized by UGC. It’s a Deemed University. It is also a Distance Education University. It is situated in Chennai. It offers under graduate and post graduate programs. It offers also Ph.D. programme.
