Mithila University was built up on August 5, 1972 by an Ordinance of the Government of Bihar therefore authorized through assemblies. The University is administered by the Bihar State Universities Act, 1976. The University was renamed as LALIT NARAYAN MITHILA UNIVERSITY vide University notice No. 6760-7244 dated 28 April, 1980.

Any Graduate or a Bachelor's degree in Education or B.Ed. with 45% least stamps on the premise of Entrance Test.

B.Ed. (inservice instructors) direct affirmation on the premise of imprints/legitimacy.

Understudies Hand Book and Prospectus can be brought from the counter of Directorate of Distance Education on every working day from the date promoted in the daily paper.

Expense of Prospectus from counter Rs. 1000/ -

Draft ought to be agreeable to LNMU Distance Education Fund A/c payable at Darbhanga. All charges are to be paid by DD as it were.

Attach one international ID size photo on the Admission structure, second on the I-Card structure and one photo is to be submitted with the application structure.

Present the application appropriately finished and marked alongside confirmed photocopies of Marksheet, authentications and so forth to Directorate of Distance Education, L.N. Mithila University Darbhanga.

After determination, call letters will be issued to the possibility for meeting, in which they will be requested that create unique authentications, marksheet for check.
