What are the eligibility criterial for Non GATE candidate should have for Scholar in M.Tech?

There are following eligibility criteria for Non GATE candidate should have for Scholar in M.Tech:

The student must be Indian National only.

The student must be enrolled under Regular (Full-Time) M.Tech program only. But she/he must be non-sponsored candidate. In the event of his/her conversion from full time to part-time, the assistantship shall be ceased to continue forthwith without any intimation.

Students who are receiving assistantship from the institute or from any other funding agencies, will not be considered for this assistantship.

The students who are receiving assistantship will be required to devote 8-10 hours per week as teaching/research assistant in their respective departments. This could include tutorials, laboratory classes, development and maintenance of laboratories, assistance in research and development activities undertaken by faculty members, maintenance and operation of computers, development of software and other central facilities. The HOD will certify the engagement of each of the student for the release of the assistentship every month.
