M Tech through BARC

I am resident of Mumbai and completed my B.Tech degree want to pursue M.Tech degree heard about the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC). Will you tell me details of M.Tech degree provided in BARC along with eligibility details also provide me address of that institute?

BARC invites applications from Engineering Graduates and Science Post-Graduates who wants to build career in the areas of Science and Technology.

BARC M.Tech Education Qualification:

B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engineering) / A.M.I.E. / A.M.I.E.T.E./A.M.I.I.Ch.E. with a minimum of 60%* aggregate marks in one of the engineering disciplines mentioned .

Selection Procedure: GATE score + written test/interview

GATE: Short listing based in GATE score
Written Test: Written test is conducted in each of the seven Engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer and Instrumentation Engineering) except Civil Engineering for short-listing candidates for interview.
Final selection: on the basis of performance in interview.

Course Duration: 2 years

Pay scale: Rs.15600-39100/- + GP Rs.5400/- . (OCES TSOs as well as DGFS Fellows are paid a stipend of Rs 20,000/- per month during the period of their training and one-time book allowance of Rs.10000/- )
