Eligibility Criteria

Candidates having passed B.Tech from IITs with a minimum overall CPI of 6.5 and minimum CPI of 8.0 in the last 2 years in B.Tech are eligible for direct M.tech admissions at IITs. Such candidates are not required to have appeared in GATE.

For M.Tech Engineering admissions, the candidates must have B.Tech./BE./M.Sc.(Engg.) degree in the respective or allied area.

For M.Tech. admission in Biological Sciences and Bio-engineering, the candidates need to have bachelors degree in pharmacy/medicine with marks/CPI not less than the specified minimum.
