IIT Roorkee M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are belonging to the Other Backward Class (OBC) and General category must have scored at least 60% marks or CGPA of 6.00 on a 10 point scale at the undergraduate engineering level programme.

Candidates belonging to Schedule Caste (SC) and Schedule tribe (ST) category need to score at least 55% or CGPA of 5.50 on a 10 point scale.

Final year undergraduate engineering students will be eligible to apply.

10 % of seats are reserved for candidates who have graduated from IITs and have a minimum CGPA of 8.00 on a 10 point scale. Such applicants are exempt from the GATE criterion.
