Re: M.Sc. Astronomy after BSc Chemistry (hons)

Hey as per my idea after BSc Chemistry (hons) there is wide scope in M.Sc. Astronomy

Eligibility

Applicants should pass the plus-two examinations with good marks / grades and having physics as the main subject for B.Sc. degree.

Scope

Astronomy considers their motions, both real and apparent, and the laws which govern those motions;

Their forms, dimensions, masses, and surface features;

Their nature, constitution, and physical condition;

The effects which they produce upon one another by their attractions and radiations;

Their probable past history and future development.

Here I am giving you list of some institutes that offer M.Sc. Astronomy

Indian Institute of Astrophysics, (Bangalore)

Indian Institute of Science, (Bangalore)

Raman Research Institute, (Bangalore)

Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics, (Pune)

National Centre for Radio Astronomy
