Re: M Sc after B.Tech

As per my knowledge yes you can opt for M Sc in any subject after completing B.Tech course.

Opting for M.SC after completing B.Tech won’t be a good idea because both fields are different. I find you should go for M. Tech because it is a Post Graduation degree which is followed after B. Tech.

Still if you want to go for M.Sc course then I suggest try for M.Sc- M.Tech dual degree which is of 4 years duration.

Even then if you want to go for M.Sc. after B.Tech then take those subjects that are closely related to your B.Tech major.

Some of the good Colleges for M Sc are as follows:

Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani
Christ College, Bangalore.
Ferguson College, Pune.
Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay
Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi
Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati
Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur
Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur
Indian Institute of Technology, Madras
Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee
Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi
Loyola College, Chennai.
Madras Christian College, Chennai.
Mount Charmel College, Bangalore.
Presidency College, Chennai.
St. Ann's College for Women, Hyderabad.
St. Joseph College, Bangalore.
St. Stephens College, Delhi.
St. Xavier College, Kolkata.
Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore
