Jamia Hamdard offers Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharmacy) a program of 2 years duration. Here I am giving you important details for admission in M. Pharmacy course at Jamia Hamdard University.

M. Pharmacy Course is offered in following Specializations:
Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Pharmaceutics
Pharmacology
Pharmacognosy and Photochemistry
Pharmacy Practice
Quality Assurance
Pharmaceutical Biotechnology

Total Seats:
12 in each of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry
10 each in Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy & Phytochem
08 in each of Pharmacy Practice and Quality Assurance
05 in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology

Eligibility:

(a) Passed B. Pharm./ B.Pharm (Unani) examination from Jamia Hamdard or any other examination recognized by Jamia Hamdard as equivalent thereto, securing at least 55% marks in the aggregate of theory papers of B. Pharm/B.Pharm (Unani) or any other equivalent examination.

(b) Qualified GATE.


Selection procedure:
The applicants for admission to the M.Pharm programme shall have to appear in the written entrance test. The test paper will comprise of questions based on B. Pharm syllabus of Jamia Hamdard .

The selection will be made on the basis of the merit prepared by apportioning the following weight age
(a) Weight age of percentile scored at GATE - 70%
(b) Weight age for qualifying examination based on aggregate marks of theory papers of B.Pharm. /B.Pharm(Unani) - 30%
