One of the premier establishment of Fine Arts in India, College of Arts and Crafts, Lucknow has cut a corner for itself in the field

of Visual Art. It is an undeniable personnel of the Lucknow University having an immense and lovely grounds separate from the college premises.

The Dept. of Fine Arts of Faculty of Fine Arts Lucknow University exists subsequent to the origin of the foundation in 1911 and has

been one of the principal in the field. The division has very much prepared workshops and studios to work in various regions such as Representation, Mural, Ceramics other than ordinary and present day materials of painting.

Master of Visual Art (Painting)
Minimum qualification and age:-
A Candidate must not be more than 28 years of age as on 31st July of the year in which he/she seeks admission and also
he/she must have cleared U.G. within last three years. There is no age bar for a teacher to do MFA/MVA if he/she is teaching at
degree level.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Programme:
Department of Fine Arts-Ordinance and all the Rules and Regulations will be follows as Lucknow University
Regulation for Ph.D.

Entrance Test

• The Entrance Test of the B.V.A., B.F.A., all Diploma and Certificate courses will be founded on down to earth and composed

examination. There will be three sections of the examination:-

(i) Object Drawing in pencil with light and shade - 100 Marks

(ii) Memory attracting pencil - 100 Marks

(iii) Written examination 50 target sort questions related with Art and general mindfulness. - 100 Marks

• The applicants who need to show up in more than one subject can apply independently.

• An applicant is required to specify his decision (alternative) of three subjects all together of inclination. The candidate will be distributed his

decision as per his legitimacy in passageway test as it were. In the event that seats in one choice are over the competitor will be offered seat in the

second and third alternative according to his decision and legitimacy.

• MVA passage test will be founded on reasonable test and composed examination.

MVA passage test will be isolated in three sections:-

(i) Practical Examination Max. Marks 100

(ii) Written Examination Max. Marks 100

(iii)Interview Max. Marks 100

Functional Examination: - Object drawing (Pencil light and shade) Max. Marks- - 100, Time- - 2 Hours

Composed Examination: - The composed test will be of two sections. To start with part will be short answer sort and second part will be long reply

sort. Second part will encourage have three divisions, each for one of the bureaus of the personnel. A candidate needs to reply

questions having a place with the same division in which he looks for confirmation.

Both parts will be of 50 denote every (aggregate max. marks-100).

Meeting: - The hopeful needs to bring an arrangement of his works and will be made inquiries by the meeting board. Max. Marks-100

• All courses of MVA will have three seats each in all control.

• Rest of the guidelines will be taken after according to old existing principles.
