Lovely Professional University (LPU), Jalandhar is recognized by UGC (University Grant Commission) along with it has obtained such recognition/ approval.

DEC (Distance Education Council) for distance learning programmes.
NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) for Teacher's Training progammes.
PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) for courses in Pharmacy.
COA (Council of Architecture) for courses in Architecture.
BCI (Bar Council of India) for its courses in Law such as LLB.

Lovely Professional University Awards and rankings
The Lovely Faculty of Technology and Sciences was ranked #12 on the CSR-GHRDC Engineering Colleges Survey 2011.
