LLB course through distance or correspondence from West Bengal/Kolkata
I want to take admission in the LLB course through distance or correspondence from West Bengal/Kolkata? Please tell me does the LLB course is done through correspondence? Also provide me its eligibility?

You want to join the LLB course through distance or correspondence but it’s not possible. The LLB is a regular mode only degree course. You cannot apply for LLB course through correspondence or distance education. You need to have 80 percent attendance to appear for the final examination. Eligibility: The applicant who wants to take admission in the LLB course should be complete graduation in any stream from recognized university. The applicant should be score min 55% of marks in graduation. The admission for LLB course is done on the basis on merit list. The applicants must need to clear the CLAT exam. The CLAT stands for common Law Admission Test. It cans entry level examination for Law course. If you are aspiring for this examination then you should be citizen of India. You should qualify in 12th standard with 50% of marks any discipline from recognized university. Your age should not more than 20 years and relaxation is applicable for sc/st and obc candidates. Firstly I would like to inform you that there are no colleges in Kolkata which offer LLB course through distance or correspondence. LLB is a usual mode only degree course. What this means is that you can not apply for LLB course through correspondence or distance education. You need to have Eighty percent attendance to appear for the final examination. The word from Bar Council of India is that one will have to do LLB through regular mode. Even if some college offers you LLB through distance education, the Bar Council of India will not identify that degree. LLB Eligibility is as follows: 1. Three years LLB is the course for graduates. 2. The marks in graduation should be 45 to 50 percent. 3. There is five per cent relaxation for SC and ST. 4. While for OBC there is no relaxation. 5. Upper age limit is Thirty years. 6. There is Five years relaxation for SC and ST.
