Internships are a vital part of the LBJ School curriculum and an important part of the career exploration and preparation process. Internships, which are completed during the summer between the first and second years of study, can be part-time or full-time, but must total 400 hours minimum.

As you want I am here telling you about the pre requirement for MPAff Program Internship offered by LBJ School.

Pre requirements:

Candidate should complete one year at the LBJ School of Public Affairs.

Candidate should complete three common core courses:
PA 391 Public Financial Management,
PA 397 Introduction to Empirical Methods
PA 393K Applied Microeconomics for Policy Analysis;

Candidate also complete one of the following flexible core courses:
PA 384C Public Management,
PA 397C Advanced Empirical Methods for Policy Analysis,
PA 393L Advanced Policy Economics,
PA 383C Policy Development;
two-semester Policy Research Project
