Lagos State University was founded in 1983 by the enabling Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, for the advancement of learning and establishment of academic excellence, it offers courses at Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.

The program, in the 2 years duration, runs 48 units of core courses, 18 units of elective courses in the areas of specialization and 6 units for final year's project.

Graduate of Lagos State University and holder of any other degree recognized by the senate of the Lagos State University not lower than 2 class (lower)
