A Joint Venture of L&T and Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited, L&T
Special Steels and Heavy Forgings meet the heavy forging requirements of
critical sectors for clients around the world.

Its custom-made products are used across the industrial spectrum.

L&T Special Steel and Heavy Forgings (LTSSHF) is a joint venture between
Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) and the Nuclear Power Corporation of India
(NPCIL).

LT SSHF has also entered into a collaboration with Japan Steel Works (JSW)
to make Heavy Steel Forgings.

L&T has regularly undertaken projects of unprecedented size and
sophistication in several industrial sectors.

Powered by a strong customer focus and quality consciousness, L&T has
attained leadership in all its core industries and expanded its footprint across
the globe.

NPCIL functions under the Department of Atomic Energy and operates 20 civil
nuclear power plants in India.

Spread over a sprawling 100-acre campus, this facility is the only one of its
kind in South East Asia to produce nuclear-grade heavy forgings



L&T Special Steels and Heavy Forgings (LTSHF) caters to specialised
requirements of Nuclear, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power, Ship Building and
Heavy Engineering Industries.



LTSSHF has entered into a technical collaboration with world renowned Japan
Steel Works (JSW) to make Heavy Steel forgings by using ingots up to
200MT. This collaboration allows us access to JSW's technical expertise and
over a century of steel-making experience for the following sectors.
