KVPY issue Hall Ticket

Can you tell me since when will be the Hall Ticket for KVPY or Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana Scholarship Exam 2016 available as I will be giving the exam this time?

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a scholarship program funded by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India, aimed at encouraging students to take up research careers in the areas of basic sciences, engineering and medicine.

Tentative Dates 2016

Opening of online application portal : 10th July 2016

Last date for closing of online application : 16th August 2016

Last date for submitting online application : 23rd August 2016

Hall Ticket : 15 – 20 days before the exam

Exam Date : 6th Nov 2016

One who qualifies KVPY Exam is eligible for the fellowship. One receives fellowship from 1st year onwards of their graduation.

The fellows receive Rs. 5000 monthly fellowship from 1st to 3rd year of B.Sc/ B.Stat/ B.S./ B.Maths/ Integrated M.S./M.Sc and an annual contingency grant of Rs.20,000.

After three years the fellowship is enhanced to Rs.7,000 per month during M.Sc/4th & 5th year of Integrated M.S./M.Sc and an annual contingency grant of Rs. 28,000.

The merit list is based on 75% weight-age for Aptitude Test marks and 25% weight-age for the interview marks in the streams SA, SB and SX.

• SA can be written by students studying Science stream in class 11.
• SX can be written by students studying Science stream in class 12.
• SB can be written by students studying Science stream in first year of graduation.
