Can you tell me the date of interview of KVC (Kendriya Vidyalaya Cuttack) Mains Exam of TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) Social Science as I am preparing for it?

As per my knowledge the last Interview Date for TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) Post of Kendriya Vidyalaya Cuttack was on 26-02-2013.


KVC TGT Social Science Educational Qualification:-

(i) Four Years Integrated degree course of Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate; or Second Class bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject(s) and in aggregate including elective and languages in the combination of subjects.

(ii) B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.

(iii) Proficiency in teaching through Hindi and English media (will be judged by way of descriptive type written examination of +2 standard).

(iv) Desirable:- Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Part 1 (Aptitude Test)

Total Questions:- 110

Total Marks:- 110

i) General Awarness (Gk, Current Affairs, Indian Constitution, General Science)

ii) Test of Reasoning

iii) Quantitative Aptitude Test

iv) Teaching Aptitude Test



Part - 2 (Language Competency Test)

Total Questions:- 40

Total Marks:- 40

English Language:- 20 marks

Hindi Language:- 20 marks

There is no negative marking.

Mains Exam - Subject Test:-

This is Descriptive Type Paper of 120 marks for a duration of 3 hours.

The Main exam consists of long, medium and short answer questions pertaining to subject/posts for which you have applied. The questions may be recall type questions to test the conceptual understanding of topics. A few question on drawing interpretations from given raw data and some situational questions may also be asked to test the anlytical ability and intelligence.
