About the exam:
The Government of Karnataka established Common Entrance Test Cell in the year 1994 for conducting of Entrance Test and determining the eligibility / merit, for admission of Karnataka candidates and the ward/s of Jammu & Kashmiri migrants to the First year or First semester of full time professional courses

Minimum marks requirements:

Important dates:
Application forms were issued on 13-Jan-16
Last date to submit the form 21-Feb-16
Last date to submit application fee in Bank 23-Feb-16
Application form correction window 26 February to 5 March 2016
Application form are again available from 16 to 18 March 2016
Application correction window will again be available 19 to 22 March 2016
KCET admission ticket will be available from 15 April 2016
KCET 2016 will be held on 4 and 5 May 2016
Kannada language test is due on 06-May-16
Verification of documents for agriculturist at the respective practical test centers
12 – 18 May 2016
Provisional answer key will be published on 09-May-16
Last date to submit the objections 13-May-16
