Rank of a matrix, Normal form, Inverse using Gauss-Jordon method, orthogonal transformation, Linear-dependence and Linear- Independence of Vectors, Eigen-Values and its properties, Eigen-vectors, Cayley-Hamilton theorem & its applications.
Part-B
APPLICATIONS OF DERIVATIVES
Taylors & Maclaurins Series for one variable, Asymptotes, Curvature, Radius of Curvature for Cartesian, parametric and polar-curves, Radius of curvature at the origin (by using Newtons method, by method of expansion).
PARTIAL DIFFERENTIATION AND ITS APPLICATIONS
Functions of two or more variables, Partial derivatives of Ist and higher order, Total differential and differentiability, Homogeneous functions Eulers theorem, Derivatives of composite and implicit functions
Jacobians, Taylors series for functions of two variables, Maxima-Minima of functions of two variables. Lagranges Method of undetermined multipliers.


Part-C
DOUBLE AND TRIPLE INTEGRATIONS
Double integral, Change of Order of Integration, Double integral in polar co-ordinates, Applications of double integral to find (i) Area enclosed by plane curves (ii)Volume of solids of revolution, Triple Integral, Change of variables, Volume of solids, Beta & Gamma functions and relation between them.

INFINITE SERIES
Convergence and divergence of infinite series, Comparison Test , DAlemberts Ratio Test, Gauss Test, Raabes test, Logarithmic Test, Cauchys Root Test, Alternating series, Conditional convergence & absolute convergence.
