Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University is a state university in Guwahati, Assam, India. It was established by the Assam Legislative Assembly by Act XXXVII of 2005 in 2005. The Act received the assent from the Governor on the same year.

About the MCA Course :
The University presently offers MCA, a professional Masters Degree in Computer Applications for the graduate learners. The MCA programme has been designed under the semester system. The programme focuses on providing a sound theoretical background as well as good practical exposure to learners in the relevant areas of computer applications.

Duration of the Course : 3 years

Admission Details :
The learners who have completed the PGDCA or DOEACC A level with Bachelors Degree can enroll themselves directly in the third semester of the MCA programme.
The admission into MCA within greater Guwahati will be held at the Universitys City Study Centre.
