Establishment of Kota University Rajasthan:
2003

The University of Kota is a public university in Kota, Rajasthan, India. The Kota University Rajasthan was established with the agreement of the governor of Rajasthan, and recognized by the UGC in 2003 under the state act.

The Kota University Rajasthan is offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

The University of Kota has 175 affiliated colleges and autonomous departments across the six districts of the Rajasthan state, Kota,Jhalawar, Bundi, Baran, Karauli and Sawai Madhopur are under the territorial jurisdiction of the university.

The university has six faculties - Arts, Science, Social Sciences, Commerce and Management, Law and Education.
