The University of Calcutta PhD admission is based on entrance test. This Entrance Test Notification has been announced.

University of Calcutta Kolkata invites applications for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Program in Ceramic Engineering, Oil Technology, Petrochemicals & Petroleum Refinery Engg, Pharmaceutical & Fine Chemical Tech offered at the Department of Chemical Technology for the session 2016 through an entrance test.

The Ph.D. Entrance test (RET) on the 12th April 2016 from 12.30 am to 2 pm and the
Viva will be held on the 26th of April 2016 at 1pm.

Forms will be accepted from 07th March 2016 in the office of the department of Sociology.
Last date of submission of form is 30th March 2016 in the office of the department of Sociology by 1pm.

List of candidates eligible for the RET (Research Eligibility Test) will be published on the departmental notice board on the 06th April 2016 after 3pm.

Eligibility:

Candidates have degree in Bachelor of Technology or Master of Science securing 55% marks
Candidates having degree in Master of Technology or Equivalent or Master of Science securing 55% marks are eligible to apply
