Please tell me what knowledge requirement for getting job in Software companies ?

For start career in the Software companies on should have good analytical skill as well as god technical skills and also should having good academics.

One should have skills like :
Aptitude Skill :
Like command on reasoning , data interpretation etc.

Technical Skills:

Have knowledge about the Basic C,C++,java .oracle and other basic languages

Should have good command on one of the programming language like:
Java
.Net
C#

Know about the web development programming:
XHTML
JavaScript
AJAX
CSS
DOM
XML
XSLT

Communication Skill: Good in English language (Speaking and Writing)

Good academic background with good percentage of marks in school and college exams. In general 1st Division mark is mandatory.

Good analytical skills

Problem solving attitude

A good software tester should have sharp analytical skills

A good software tester must have strong technical skills .

A good software tester must have a good verbal and written communication skill.

A software tester must efficiently manage workload, have high productivity ,exhibit optimal time management and organization skills



Qualification required

Academic background of a software tester should be in Computer Science. A BTech/ B.E. , MCA , BCA , BSc- Computers will land you a job easily.

If you do not hold any of these degrees than you must complete a software testing certification like ISTQB and CSTE which help you learn Software Development/ Test Life Cycle and other testing methodologies.

Testing skills are:

Project life cycle,

Testing concepts,

Knowledge of testing types,

Programming languages familiarity,

Database concepts,

Test plan idea,

Ability to analyze requirements,

Documentation skill,

Testing tools
