I am 12th class student at a govt. school of Bhubneshwar. I want to be a doctor. For this, I will have to clear any medical entrance exam. Sir, would you tell me about Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) entrance test?

Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), is affiliated to KIIT University.The institute has three wings – (1.)The Hospital, (2.)The Medical College (for MBBS and MD Courses) and (3.)Biomedical Technology Unit. KIMS offers M.B.B.S. and M.D. Programmes, the above programs are approved by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

Duration: - 4 ½ years + 1 year Internship

Eligibility: - HSC in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English

Admission Criteria:-
There is an entrance exam for this program which is known as KIITEE. The exam conducted by KIIT University.

Receipt of application form is One week after last date of Sale

Hey as The Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences is the medical school of the KIIT University situated in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India

Eligibility

Candidates should be 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for general category candidates and 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for SC/ST Candidates.

Age:

Candidates Lower age should be 17 years

Exam pattern

KIITEE will be conducted in the online mode. It will ask 180 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Every question is given four options to answer from. The applicant has to click on the circle s/he feels is the correct answer. S/he can go to any question simply by clicking on the question number that will be appearing at the bottom of the screen.

Each correct answer is rewarded 4 marks and 1 mark is negated for every incorrect answer.
