The admission process in BS (IT) in Dr. A. Q. Khan Institute of Computer Sciences and Information Technology is as follows:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA – BS (IT)

The admissions are held twice a year in Spring and Fall Semesters. The maximum number of seats available for admissions in BSIT program is 60.

ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY:

A student seeking admission in BSIT Program should fulfill the following requirements:

F. Sc. Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, Intermediate with Computer Science with minimum of 50% aggregate marks,

OR

A-Level with Mathematics, Securing at least 50% aggregate marks.

OR

Diploma of Associate Engineering in IT/Computer Technology with 60% aggregate marks is a must

ADMISSION CATEGORIES:

Candidates will be treated in the following five admission categories.

Category-A F. Sc. Pre Engineering
Category-B Pre-Medical
Category-C Intermediate with Computer Science
Category-D A-Level with Mathematics
Category-E Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in IT/ Computer Technology

Admission form is provided in the prospectus and can be downloaded directly from the official website.
Duly filled form must be sent to the Admission office within the given time period as advertised in newspapers, at website and in national media.
Attested copies of documents and certificates of Secondary School Examination, Higher Secondary School Examination and other required documents are to be attached with admission form.

Fee Categories
Candidates fall into one of the following three fee categories:
• Category 1: Children of KRL employees
• Category 2: Children of SPDs’ controlled Strategic Organization Employees.
Namely, these Organizations are: SPD, PAEC, NESCOM, SUPARCO, DESTO.
A bonafide from employee organization is required.
• Category 3: Others than the above (General Public)
