Eligibility Criteria:
The applicant should have acquired Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade and B.Ed degree in any discipline from any one of the universities in Kerala.

Exam pattern

Paper – I:
Paper – I is common for all candidates.
It consists of two parts, Part A – General Knowledge and Part B – Aptitude in Teaching.

Paper – II:
Paper – II shall be a test based on the subject of specializations of the candidates at the PG level.

The duration of the Test shall be 120 minutes for each paper.

Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET) is the mandatory entrance exam conducted in the state level for recruitment of non-vocational and higher secondary teachers in the state of Kerala.

The exam is conducted in 2 parts comprising of general knowledge, aptitude in teaching and on the subject of specialization in Post Graduation.

Eligibility criteria for Kerala State Eligibility Test 2015
The candidates should have completed the post graduation degree in the concerned subject or they should pass the post graduation in the year of the eligibility test.
The candidates must have B.Ed degree from a recognized University in Kerala. The candidates who will pass B.Ed in the same year when they appear for the eligibility test can also apply.
Candidates must ensure before applying whether their subject demands B.Ed degree or not from the official website of Kerala State Eligibility Test.
The candidates who have already qualified M.Ed or NET need not qualify the SET examination for teaching.
