Right now in 2014, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan does not publish any latest notification for PRT exam , in 2013, KVS published PRT notification, here are details & dates:

Written examination was held on from 14th to 16th December 2013

Here is the KVS PRT exam pattern & syllabus:

KVS PRT written exam consists of Part 1 and pat II.

Part 1
PRT part I consists of 2 subjects Hindi and English.
Candidates appearing for part I exam will have to score minimum 4 marks in each and minimum 10 as aggregate score in of total marks gained in paper 1 than they are eligible to appear for part II exam.

KVS PRT Part II:
In this part there will carry questions of total 120 marks.
The weightage is 50:30:20.
