Re: KCET Any Non-Karnataka Quota

No Non-Karnataka students are not eligible to apply for Karnataka Common Entrance Test. There is no quota for non Karnataka students for KCET exam.

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test is conducted for the purpose of determining the eligibility for admission of Karnataka candidates to the First year or First semester of full time courses in Medical, Dental courses, in institutions within the State of Karnataka.

KCET Eligibility Criteria:-
For admison in B.Tech you must have passed 10+2 exam from any recognized board in the country or Pre-University exam from any recognized university.

You must have studied Physics and Maths along with any one of the optional subject, include:-
Chemistry,
Biology,
Biotechnology or
Electronics.

You must have acquired a minimum aggregate mark of 45% to become eligible to apply.
The minimum mark requirement for the SC/ST/OBC category candidates is 40%.

KCET Eligibility Criteria (Architecture Course):
-You should have completed 10+2 with Mathematics as an optional subject.
- You must have secure 50% aggregate in 10+2 in all subjects.
- You should also appear for the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) and should score a minimum of 40%.
