MUOET is the entrance exam conducted by the Manipal University for admission in MBBS and BDS.
Kasturba Medical College takes admission on the basis on MUOET scores.

MUOET Eligibility-

10+2 from a recognized University with a minimum of 55 % marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
Age should not be below the age of 17 years.
The applicant for MBBS & BDS must be an Indian.

Tentative Dates-

Last Date to Apply: 11th March 2014
Online Entrance Exam Booking Dates: 21st March to 28th March 2014
Entrance Test Date: 14th April to 15th May 2014
Result of Entrance Test: 24th May 2014

Selection procedure-

Admissions to MBBS and BDS courses are done only on basis of rank in All India Manipal University ONLINE Entrance Test (MU-OET).

Exam Structure-

OET is conducted ONLINE, and candidates have to answer on a computer provided at the examination center. Candidates aspiring for MBBS and BDS have to score a minimum of 50% marks in the OET for being eligible for the admission.

Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University directs MU OET PG medical entrance exam for admission to PG medical courses .

It offers PG medical courses like MD/MS/Diploma through its deemed medical colleges in Karnataka, namely Kasturba Medical college Mangalore and Kasturba Medical College Manipal.

Course: MSc (Medical)

Physiology, Biochemistry, Anatomy, Microbiology ,Pharmacology and Genetics Counselling

Important Dates:

The MU-OET will be held between 16.06.2015 and 18.06.2015.

Applicants can select the Test schedule of their choice in the Online Test Booking System.

Test Pattern:

Duration-2 hours and consists of 3 sections.
The approximate distribution of questions is as follows:

Section1-Zoology (40)
Section2-Botany (40)
Section3- Chemistry including Biochemistry (40).

The question paper is of multiple choice questions of the objective type, covering the syllabus of BSc level followed by major Indian Universities.

Merit List:
General Category: Based on the marks secured in MU-OET, Manipal University will declare a list of applicants in the order of merit.

Merit list will be displayed on or before 23.06.2015 in the website.

Foreign/NRI Category: A separate merit list of the candidates under the Foreign/NRI category will be prepared based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination and those selected for admission will be informed separately.
