Kalyani University MA Exam Date
I am presently a student of Kalyani University doing my MA 1st Year from this University. As University announces the MA 1st Year examination dates can you please tell me the time table MA 1st Year of the Kalyani University? Also tell from where I can get the latest updates of time table of this University?

Hello buddy as we have information Kalyani University does not announce exam dates for M.A here we provide you syllabus of M.A ( ENGLISH ) as follows About the Course : Each Semester Course will consist of two units to be studied in detail. Each unit is divided into two subunits. Therefore each course comprises of four sub-units. Each course will be covered in 56 lectures. Hence each unit will be covered in (56 รท 2) = 28 lectures. Minimum requirement for a student to appear in the exam is 28 lecturers. One sub-unit is equivalent to: Prose: (a) One Novel or (b) Five Short Stories or (c) Three Essays or (d) Three Speeches or Drama: (e) One Full-length Play or (f) Three One-Act Plays or Poetry: (g) One Long Poem or (h) One Book/Canto of an Epic or (i) Three Mid-Length Poems or (j) Ten Short Poems or Others: (k) One Film or (l) One Opera or (m) One Musical or (n) Ten Lyrics or (o) One Book-length Text. The course content should be an adequate combination of all these and the content will be decided by the concerned teachers. Marks Distribution : Core Courses = 600 marks (50 marks x twelve courses). Optional Courses = 300 marks (50 marks x six courses). Dissertation = 70 marks. Viva = 30 marks. Total = 1000 marks. Marks distribution in each course = End term test = 40 marks (2 essay type questions of 15 marks each & 2 explanations/ short questions of 5 marks each. From each unit one essay type and one explanation/ short question will have to be attempted) There will be a mid-term presentation carrying 10 marks of which 7 marks will be for the paper and 3 marks for the defence of the paper, except in the case of courses IX and X where a mid-term test of 10 marks will be taken by the internal examiner. Course Distribution: Each student must choose any six out of a minimum of 12 optional courses. The courses to be studied in each semester will be as follows: 1 st Semester 4 core courses + 1 optional course 2 nd Semester 4 core courses + 1 optional course 3 rd Semester 2 core courses + 3 optional courses 4 th Semester 2 core courses + 1 optional course + |
