J.S.P.S Govt Homoeopathic Medical college, Hyderabad was instittuted in 1967 by Private Managements and subsequently were taken over by the Government in 1972 merging later in 1979. Earlier Diploma course was conducted from 1967 to 1978 under the Board of Indian Medicines & Homoeopathy. The post graduate courses in Homoeopathy were started in the year 1999.

Now both the degree courses i.e BHMS and Post Graduate courses i.e M.D.(Hom) are affiliated to Dr. NTRUHS, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
