Joint Entrance Test Diploma

I am planning to give the Punjab Joint Entrance Test for Diploma exam and for this searching for details about this entrance exam. Will you please provide me eligibility and pattern of this exam so I can apply and prepare well for exam also provide me important dates related to this exam?

Punjab JET is the Joint Entrance Test for Diploma course admission in various Punjab Polytechnic Colleges.

Eligibility:

The eligibility criteria for 85% seats will be that candidate shall be a resident of Punjab State as per Punjab Government, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (PPII Branch) letter No. 1/3/95-3PPII/9619 dated 6th June 1996 and letter No. 1/3/95-3PPII /81 dated 1st January, 1999. OR
Candidate shall have passed the matriculation examination from an institution / school affiliated to Punjab School Education Board / CBSE / ICSE / National Open School situated in Punjab

Exam pattern:

JET-2016 will have one paper of 200 questions.
Questions will be asked from English, General Awareness and Aptitude, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Mathematics-40
Physics-40
Chemistry-40
You should also know that the question paper will have multiple choice objective type questions only.
Note: There will be no negative marking in the JET.
