Here I am giving you information about required eligibility to join National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)


The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is the agency of the United States government that is responsible for the nation's civilian space program and for aeronautics and aerospace research.


Requirement for Astronaut with NASA:

Basic requirements for an Astronaut Pilot include the following:


You have to passed Bachelor degree from an accredited institution in engineering, biological science, physical science or mathematics.
An advanced degree is desirable.


You must have At least 1,000 hours pilot-in-command time in jet aircraft
Flight test experience is extremely required.


Ability to pass a NASA space physical which is more or less similar to a military or civilian flight physical and includes the following specific standards:


Distant visual acuity: 20/100 or better uncorrected, correctable to 20/20 each eye.
Blood pressure: 140/90 measured in a sitting position.
Height between 62 and 75 inches


Candidates can go for:
PhD (Astrophysics).
PhD (Geophysics).
PhD (Metaphysics).


Candidates must be a U.S. citizen to apply for the program through NASA, applicants with valid U.S. dual-citizenship are also eligible.
