Join CBI after 12th
Can you tell me how can I join CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) after completing 12th as I want to make a career in it?

With 12th standard qualification, you are not eligible for CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation). So, you need to complete Graduation as it is the minimum qualification required for it. The complete details are mentioned below: For CBI: Central Bureau of Investigation is the top most investigation agency in the country. For getting into that you need to write the exam conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). The Eligibility details are as follows: Candidates must have completed graduation from any recognized university. Minimum 21 years of age. The maximum age allowed is 27 years. Age relaxation is provided for Reserved categories. 5 years for SC/ST Candidates. 3 years for OBC candidates. The upper age is relaxable for certain categories of employees working under government of India and Defense Services Personnel. Physical Requirements: Height: For Male-165 cms. For Female- 150 cms. Chest: Male- 76 cms. Good Eye Sight. Exam Pattern: The exam pattern is as follows. 1. Preliminary Examination. 2. Main Examination In the Preliminary Examination, there are two papers. Paper 1 consists of General Awareness and General Intelligence. It consists of 100 questions and for 100 marks. The duration of the exam is 2 hours. In the Paper 2 there are 100 questions for 100 marks and all the questions are on Arithmetic only. Even the duration of this paper is 2 hours. Keep in mind that qualifying in the preliminary examination will not offer you a job, this will make you eligible for the Main examination. Coming to the final examination, the candidates who have passed in the preliminary examination are only allowed for the Main examination. In the Main Examination there are two stages. They are written examination and personality test. The syllabus for the written examination is: General Studies-100Marks English-100Marks Language-100Marks Arithmetic-200Marks Communication Skills and Writing-100Marks In the Personality test, they will test the personality and mental ability of the candidates. |

As you want to become CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) Officer so here I am giving you procedure to join CBI. Eligibility Criteria: 1. Educational Qualification: For becoming an ASI in CBI you should hold a Bachelor of any stream after 12th. 2. Age Limit: Candidate must have attained the age of 20 years on 1st July of the year of examination and must not have attained 27 years of age on that date. 3. Age Relaxation: Upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. 4. Physical Requirements: a. Height i. For men -165cms. ii. For women -150cms Height relax able for Hillsmen and Tribals: 5cms b. Chest: 76cms. with expansion (There shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates) c.Vision: Eye-Sight (with or without glasses) Distant Vision :6/6 in one and 6/9 in other eye. NearVision:0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye Procedure to be an ASI in CBI: Step 1: Candidates have to procure the “Application Form” along with required information from the employment newspaper generally published in the month of April. Sent the filled Application form to the regional centers Step 2: Preliminary Examination: Part A: General Intelligence and General Awareness No. Of Question: 100 Marks: 100 Time: 2 Hrs.
