As you wanted to do B.tech in Civil Engineering B.E. Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering is an undergraduate Civil Engineering course. B.E. Civil Engineering is four year program and the course deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of structures and works like bridges, tunnels, canals, buildings, airports, water works, sewage systems, highways & rail-roads, water-ways & canals, dams & power houses, water treatment & sewage disposal system, ports, docks & harbours, etc

Eligibility criteria:

The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing a B.E. (Civil Engineering) degree is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

Entrance examination :
national and state level entrance exams such as All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE),
]Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) etc,

A Joint entrance Exam (JEE) is conducted by Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) in the country. The entrance to the IITs can be secured only after clearing this JEE.

An examination is also conducted by the Associate Membership of the Institute of Engineers (AMIE), through distance education. The degree awarded is considered equivalent to a regular B.E. (Civil Engineering) degree.
