Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test JNVST Exam is conducted by the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti for admission to class VI & Class IX JNVST Eligibility Criteria Candidate must be studying in class VIth in Govt./ Govt. aided or other recognized school of the district. Age 9-13 year on Ist may of year of admission for which selection test is conducted and it is applicable for all categories. Candidate applying for rural quota must have passed class III, IV,V from school located in rural area in the preceding 3 continuous academic session without any repetition, gap or break. No candidate is allowed to appear in selection test for the second time under any circumstances. JNVST Paper Pattern:- The language/medium of the examination for the candidate will be the medium through which the candidate is studying in Class-V. The selection test will be of two-hour duration and will have 3 sections with only objective type questions. There are 100 questions in all. The total marks for the test is 100 and each question carries one mark. Type of Test:- Mental ability Test Number of Questions:- 50 Marks:- 50 Duration:- 60 Minutes Type of Test:- Arithmetic Test Number of Questions:- 25 Marks:- 25 Duration:- 30 Minutes Type of Test:- Language Test Number of Questions:- 25 Marks:- 25 Duration:- 30 Minutes No change in the answer once written is allowed. One mark will be given for every correct answer. No negative marking will be done. |
