Is JNU Better Than DU

Is Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is better than the Delhi University (DU) for higher studies? Tell me the ranking of Jawaharlal Nehru University and Delhi University in India and I the World? Both the Universities are among the top 10 Universities of India?

I find both - JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University), New Delhi and DU (University of Delhi), New Delhi - are among the good Universities of India.

Jawaharlal Nehru University

Jawaharlal Nehru University is the foremost university in India and a world-renowned centre for teaching and research. It has collaborated with universities across the world in research projects, conferences, and publications. It has many active MoUs with international and national universities and exchanges faculty and students with them regularly.


Ranking

JNU was ranked no 3 among all universities in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework, Government of India, in 2016 and no 2 in 2017.
It also received the Best University Award from the President of India in 2017.
It was ranked sixth overall in the National Institutional Ranking Framework ranking of 2018 and second among universities.

University of Delhi

The University of Delhi is a collegiate public central university founded in 1922 by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly.
