Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is the premier University which holds an Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE) for admission to various UG, PG and doctoral courses. The written examination of JNU is conducted once in a year.

JNU Exam Dates 2018

Commencement of online application process 15th September 2017
Closing of online application process 17th October 2017
Application correction 25th 26th October 2017
Admit Card Available 12th December 2017
Date of entrance exam (JNUEE) 27th 30th December 2017
CEEB exam date 30th December 2017
Result Declaration for the programmes for which
viva-voce is necessary [B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year,
M.Sc.in SC MM & SCIS,-21st February,
2018 (Tentative) M.A. (Foreign Language)
M.Phil/Ph.D., Ph.D., PGDE, M. Tech, MPH, COP

CEEB result & choice filling 9th March 2018
Viva-Voce of candidates selected
on the basis of written test By 20th March 2018

Eligibility Requirement

B.A. (Hons.) 1st year
Passed/appearing 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks.
Certificate of Alimiah with at least 45% marks and passed English Language subject at senor secondary level or a 3-years course conducted by Darul-Uloom Deoband

B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year in German
First year of Bachelors degree or an examination recognized as equivalent with at least 50% marks under 10+2+3 pattern with proficiency in German.

B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year other than German
First year of Bachelors degree or an examination recognized as equivalent with at least 45% marks under 10+2+3 pattern with proficiency in concerned language.
