JIPMER UG Exam:

The JIPMER 2016 MBBS entrance exam will be organized for the admission to approx 150 MBBS seats in the JIPMER Institution based in Pondicherry.

Exam Eligibility:

The applicants should have completed 17 years of their age as on or before the 31st December of examination year.
The applicants should have qualified the 10+2/Senior Secondary or its correspondent examination from a recognized board or university with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as major subjects.
The applicants should have scored minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination

Exam pattern:

The distribution of the questions will be made as per the following criteria:

Chemistry – 60 Questions

Physics – 60 Questions

Biology or Biochemistry – 60 Questions

English & Comprehension – 10 Questions

Logic & Quantitative Reasoning – 10 Questions

Exam dates:

online registration start –7th March 2016
Last date of online registration – 4th May 2016
Date of issue of admit card – second week of May 2016
Date of entrance examination – 5th June 2016
Declaration of result – second week of June 2016
Counsellig – to be announced later
