JIPMER MBBS will be held on June 3, 2018, as an online Computer Based Test (CBT) of two and a half hour duration. JIPMER MBBS exam may either be conducted in one or two shifts depending on the number of applicants, logistics and as per the directions of the Madras High Court. The exam will comprise 200 questions and the syllabus of JIPMER MBBS entrance will be based on Class 11 and 12 portions. JIPMER MBBS exam will be conducted in English medium only and there will be negative marking applicable for the first time in JIPMER MBBS entrance exam. JIPMER exam pattern: Mode Online, Computer Based Exam (CBT) Duration 2.5 hours (150 minutes) Exam Shifts & Timings* If it is held in single shift Morning: 10.00 AM to 12.30 PM If it is held in two shifts Morning: 10.00 AM to 12.30 PM Afternoon: 3.00 PM to 5.30 PM Language English Total Number of Questions 200 Type of Questions MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) Marking Scheme +4 for Correct Response -1 for Incorrect Response 0 marks for unattempted questions Subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Quants and Reasoning Exam Centres 120; increased from 75 last year |
