JIPMER MBBS 2014 Entrance Exam Date
2nd week of June 2014

Results to be declared on
Mid June 2014

Eligibility;
The applicant should have Secondary / Higher Secondary /Indian School Certificate Examination considered equivalent to 10+2 exam taken after 12 years of study, of which two last years’ study must have comprised Chemistry, Physics, Biology / Mathematics and Bio – Technology 50% (GEN) and 40% (OPH/OBC/ST/SC) marks.

Selection procedure
Admission is based on entrance test conducted by JIPMER.

Cut off 2015
The JIPMER 2015 Cutoff for all the categories is as follows:
General: 50%
General OPH: 45%
JIPMER 2015 Cutoff for OBC/SC/ST: 40%

Exam pattern
(1) The questions for JIPMER MBBS Entrance Examination 2015 will be based on the syllabus as prescribed by State Board Hr. Sec. and CBSE for XI & XII Standards.

(2) JIPMER 2015 Exam Pattern On-Line Based Distributed Object System of Examination. The duration of JIPMER 2015 exam will 2hrs 30 minutes.

(3) The Entrance Examination is common to all and consists of 200 single best response type MCQs and will cover all subjects.

(4) The Entrance Examination will be of multiple choice type questions totaling 200 in the subjects of

Physics (60 Marks),
Chemistry (60 Marks),
Biology (60 Marks) &
English (20 Marks)

Each answer with correct response shall be awarded one mark.
Zero mark will be given for the question not answered. There is no NEGATIVE MARKING.

(5) The examination shall be conducted in ENGLISH medium only.
