The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) Program offered by JIMS (Jagan Institute of Management Studies) is divided into 6 semesters with 2 semesters in an academic year. Each semester has a working duration of about 21 weeks as per the following breakup.

Eligibility
50% aggregate in 12th with English (core or elective or functional) and Mathematics or Computer Science/ informatics practice/Computer applications.
Or
3 year diploma in a branch of engineering from polytechnic approved by All India Council for technical education and affiliated to a recognized examining body with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Duration
The minimum period required for completion of programme is 3 years (6 semesters)

Selection Criteria
One needs to take a Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in the months of April & May
Based on merit in CET examination, one is admitted to the programme through Common Counselling Session.
