Tuition Fee : Rs.250/- p.a.
JIPMER Student’s Association fee : Rs.800/- p.a.
Amenity Fee : Rs.1,000/- p.a.
Caution Deposit (Institute) : Rs.1,000/-
Development Fund : Rs.1,000/-
Sports Fee : Rs.25/- p.a.
Registration Fee : Rs.40/-
Library Fee : Rs.10/- p.a.
Matriculates Fee : Rs.18/-
Corpus Fund (5% of Tuition Fee) : Rs.13/- p.a.

Duration of the MBBS course is 4 years and 6 months as per the Academic Calendar of JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education & Research) followed by one year of compulsory rotatory Internship for award of Degree.


There will be a Common Entrance Examination for 200 Seats (150 seats at JIPMER, Puducherry + 50 seats at JIPMER, Karaikal)

ACADEMIC FEE FOR NRI / OCI CANDIDATES:

An Academic fee of US $75,000/- + Transaction charges as applicable. This will be one-time payment, for entire duration of the course, at the time of admission.

Admission letter will be issued only on confirmation of payment from the competent authority.

Payment to be made in foreign currency by way of Demand Draft drawn in favor of the
Director, JIPMER, Puducherry payable at “Puducherry”

Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
