West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) conduct JEXPO entrance exam for admission in polytechnic courses each year in the month of April. Eligibility criteria for JEXPO Indian citizen. Age : 21 years. Three years relaxation in upper age for SC/ST category. Candidates must have done Matriculation or 10th with Physical Science, Mathematics, & English . JEXPO / VOCLET Exam Pattern: Two question papers . Total of 200 marks each Duration :120 minutes Paper 1 contains questions from Mathematics. Paper 2 include questions from Physics and chemistry JEXPO/VOCLET Syllabus Physics Syllabus Modern Physics; Current Electricty and Electromagnetism; Light: Lens and Dispersion; Heat; Simple weight-weight calculation using chemical equation; Avogadro’s Law; Properties of gases-pressure and temperature; Structure of Atom; Sound; Light; Work; Power; Energy; Newton’s Laws of Motion; Displacement, Speed, velocity and Acceleration; Rest and Motion; Change of state; Matter and Energy; System of measurements and Measuring devices Chemistry Syllabus Organic chemistry: Details of organic chemistry, Alkane, Alkene, Alkyne, Monomer and polymer; Some metals: Aluminum, magnesium, zink,iron and copper; important substances and its uses; HCl, Nitric acid and Sulfuric acid; Electronic theory of Oxidation and reduction; Chemical Bonding; Periodic Table; Fuel (Carbonaceous); Water, Nitrogen, Ammonia, Carbon; Oxides, acids, base and salts; Oxygen; Chemical reaction and chemical equation; Solution; Separation of Mixtures; Physical and chemical change; Identification of matter : Physical and Chemical properties. Mathematics Syllabus Algebra, Arithmetic, Mensuration, Geometry, Trignometry etc. Syllabus-based preparation is always helpful for candidates to score good marks in the exam. Therefore, make a separate list of the most important topics and average topics. Now start your preparation with most important topics and let them covered first and therefore move to rest of the topic of syllabus.
