JEXPO Guide Book
Hello sir I had filled the application form of JEXPO and now want to start my preparation so will you please guide me by telling me name of the books that I can refer for preparation of this Exam??

Joint Entrance Examination (JEXPO) is conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (annually) for the selection of eligible candidates to 1st year diploma courses. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must be Indian citizen Candidate age should not be exceeded than 21 years at the time of admission. There will be three years relaxation in upper age for SC/ST category. Applicant must have done Matriculation or 10th with Physical Science, Mathematics, & English from Central or State Board recognized by Government. Exam Pattern JEXPO will comprise two question papers with a total of 200 marks each with 120 minutes of duration. Paper 1 will contains questions from Mathematics and paper (2) will be include questions from Physics and chemistry Syllabus: JEXPO Mathematics Syllabus: Arithmetic Algebra Geometry Mensuration Trignometry etc… JEXPO Physics Syllabus: System of measurements and Measuring devices. Matter and Energy Change of state Rest and Motion Displacement, Speed, velocity and Acceleration Newton’s Laws of Motion Work, Power, Energy Light Sound Structure of Atom Properties of gases-pressure and temperature Avogadro’s Law Simple weight-weight calculation using chemical equation. Heat Light: Lens and Dispersion Current Electricty and Electromagnetism Modern Physic JEXPO Chemistry Syllabus: Identification of matter : Physical and Chemical properties. Physical and chemical change. Separation of Mixtures. Solution Chemical reaction and chemical equation Oxygen Oxides, acids, base and salts Water, Nitrogen,Ammonia,Carbon, Fuel (Carbonaceous) Periodic Table Chemical Bonding Electronic theory of Oxidation and reduction HCl, Nitric acid and Sulfuric acid Some Important substances- nature and uses.
